Cuppa: A Coffee App

Cuppa: a coffee app

Ultimately, you don’t really care about the app - you just want the coffee.

Ultimately, you don’t really care about the app - you just want the coffee.

scope

This app is designed to let people on the go order coffee more efficiently by using their mobile devices. It utilizes a cloud driven model which allows for orders and order history to populate data fields from both the storefront, and user driven side.

Form

The mobile form is designed to be used on both mobile phone and tablet devices. The phone runs either Android or Windows Phone OS’ - ie: the phone must have a menu, back, and home button. (Home is less necessary)

Constraints

This app relies on a 3 concepts

  1. The Average User or orderer

  2. The Store or distribution point has access to the app’s off-site database

  3. Credit cards are used as primary key identifier (1st tier) for in store to populate user history based on in-store and in-app history.

For this project, I consulted with my local coffee shop and a few others. I intentionally avoided Starbucks.
